4. From Scouting the Route map, visit all of the locations and read about them. From p. 531 in your textbook, identify each time zone.

Geez this took a while to complete but I feel plenty ready for any discussion that's coming up. Some of these questions are a little challenging to answer considering there is so much information you need to go through to properly answer these questions.

I was surprised to learn that most of the workers on the railroad were Chinese. They wanted raises and they did it in a peaceful fashion. I was also surprised to see how the Chinese were much more frugal with their earnings than the American workers.
