This is very interesting! I will be definantly checking out the documentary very soon. Its interesting that they chose to put the title "What would Jesus Buy" in the disney font. This is a great topic to dicuss in class. Maybe, after the Holidays....so that everyone has a chance to see the documentary and be able to add to the discussion.
Personally, christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. i understand the point that the reverend is trying to make, but by making this point he could also be making the material part of christmas more of a big deal. I think presents are fine but in a portioned amount. But this is his passion so of course he is going to be 100% on his opinion.

I think it is interesting that he is so passionate about this subject. I think he understands that Christmas should be a time to praise the Lord, and not a time to praise materials, because most Americans forget what Christmas is all about.
